European Heritage Days 2014 - September free tour

09.09.2014 European Heritage Days is a series of events and events that promote monuments. They will traditionally take place on the second and third weekend of September (13-14 and 20-21 September 2014). In Poland and other countries participating in the initiative, you can then visit monuments and cultural sites free of charge (often inaccessible on a daily basis). Many of them also organize exhibitions, lectures and other accompanying events for guests. The theme of the XXII edition of the European Heritage Days is "Heritage - Source of Identity". It refers to a shared past, a sense of belonging to a community and a nation, a bond with language, tradition, history and family. On the second and third weekend of September, hundreds of unique events will take place all over Poland and dozens of places and monuments will be available for free - castles, forts, bunkers, mills, dams, churches, industrial plants, etc. The full calendar and guide is available at edd.nid.pl website
